We are a fast paced Mexican restaurant looking for responsible and reliable Cook

Job Overview

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Mexican dishes
  • Follow recipes and adhere to the restaurant’s standard preparation methods
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards
  • Inspect and clean cooking equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • Coordinate food preparation with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
  • Stock and maintain inventory of food and cooking supplies
  • Monitor food levels and communicate with the kitchen manager for reordering
  • Adapt recipes to meet special dietary needs or customer preferences
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes or menu items
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
  • Follow portion control guidelines to minimize food wastage
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food preparation
  • Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with servers and other staff to ensure smooth service
  • Provide a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
